ARGH!!!! Having too much time in camp and having nothing much to do. time passes very fast these days (good yet scary) I am also having lots of time to think and reflect ( Not bad!) Perhaps is not a waste of time but a 2 years break in life. perhaps I should just layback to relax and prepare for the tough journey ahead. __________ (Thought of the day) Take time to cultivate do not rush! This idea struck me in the morning when I see my friends doing some work in the office Although is not "professional work" but perhaps there are more things than "professional". Is creativity cultivate or is it trained? Perhaps having more time to think and having lesser interferences from the outside world might be a better way to cultivate one's passion. This can be achieved by taking a longer time to understand what we need and what we want and also to build up ones's abilities and skills. Rushing to things, like many of us, failed to see a bigger picture because we are expose to many of the "real things" and the "rush of time" which stop us from thinking about our life. And many of the times we are rushed to learn things that takes time. (Morale values...) Something I just find that we are confine to many of the "Dateline guide" At 10yr we should at 20s we much... at 30s we have to... at 40-death we need to.... Perhaps as an individual we sometime should just forget that many datelines we give ourselves and cultivate something more important and more meaningful things. Nonetheless, to many of us, taking time to cultivate one's skills might seem to be inefficient and sometime not practical. ( I agree to it too) But good soup takes long time to cook right? Same as a person's skills ( Any form of skills), it take time to build up. Rushing to it might not be the best option, letting nature steer its course might be a better option. Living in this time, where time is money, where one's opportunity cost is so high, we something have no choice but to rush through may lessons in life. Perhaps, next time when we look at our "Dummy for datelines guide " we will not forget what is the most important things in out life |
