Dear Applicant,

Congratulations! We are pleased to inform that you have been selected and granted admission to the Specialist Diploma in Interactive New Media Design with CET Academy at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

I am glad! but was wondering if this is really good for me!

Sometime i just felt that the above is a cover for a me, a reason for myself to escape many things in life i am afraid to face.

Is just activities that i hope could stop my mind from thinking

A reason or something i can find excuse from

Sometime i just wonder why i cannot be like the others that can simply enjoying every moment not thinking if it is meaningful or not doing certain activities.

I am trying very hard, and i did learn to relax and enjoy myself, but time and time my unfilled mind would make me ask the question about meaning.

I know, everything is meaningful is only how you view it!

But just! I gave in and allowed my mind to control me once again!

Perhaps being open and happy is just not me. (true or not?)

This is the reason why i hate my mind! Because i would be thinking issues like this that does not contribute anything to my life happiness but self suffering! A suffering that can easily cured by not thinking at all.

Wat am i thinking about? Life is all just suffering?

Perhaps is wrong!

Life is happiness!....What am i thinking?

these months of idling made me think through many issues in life and perhaps is a good thing.

Sometime i just felt that telling good and helpful concepts to people is easy, but doing myself is just so tough so tough.

Perhaps a chick always dream to fly, and a hen dreaming of wearing the yellow feather coat.

Businessman stereotype!!

it just make my blood boil!

Below is an article found online and is a believe i found out from many people!

Below stereotype are *^(*&^*&% not TRUE!!!

Why Lawyers, Doctors, Nurse and teacher ARE label the GOOD IN Society and BUSINESSMAN who did so many things for the people are LABELED THE name below! It just make ME MAD!!

Trying to understand, but feeling sad why!

Because i always believe i am a businessman, but i am not what is labelled below!

one stereotype seems to have no lobby in Hollywood to complain: the businessman, who is often depicted on the tube as a character so selfish and greedy that he'll lie, cheat, steal, and kill to get what he wants.

One of the first notable critiques of the evil businessman stereotype came from Ben Stein, a former Nixon White House aide. In his book The View From Sunset Boulevard, Stein told the story of hanging out in Hollywood in the late 1970s with television executives. He also reviewed 200 episodes of TV programs from the 1979--80 season.

After all that content analysis, he wrote:

"One of the clearest messages of television is that businessmen are bad, evil people, and that big businessmen are the worst of all."

"... the murderous, duplicitous, cynical businessman is about the only kind of businessman there is on TV adventure shows, just as the cunning, trickster businessman shares the stage with the pompous buffoon businessman in situation comedies."

In 1981, the Media Institute followed up with its own study, which found that businessmen were portrayed on TV as "crooks, con men, and clowns."
